The Lightroom Plugin included in Photomatix Pro lets you select a bracketed photos set or single photo in Lightroom, export it to Photomatix Pro for HDR processing, and reimport the final image into your Lightroom library. Does the Plugin work with the 64 bit version of Lightroom? The Plugin will export in the color space you have specified on the Export dialog in step photonatix.lrplugin. I followed your instructions to install the plugin, but it still does not show up in Lightroom.
The latter could happen if Lightroom was installed by a different user account than the one used to install Photomatix Pro for example, but might also depend on other factors specific to your Lightroom installation. They are saved under a folder of your temporary directory, and then deleted by Photomatix.lrpplugin Pro once it has processed them.
Another possibility I could deduct from what you write is that you believe that the stand alone version and the Lightroom plugin are one and the same thing.
